The driver of a Ford Fiesta was lucky to escape unscathed after their car skidded off the road on the B1063 between Clare and Hundon.
Suffolk police were called at 2.15pm today with reports of a single vehicle collision on the B1063 near Chilton Street.
While the vehicle was seriously damaged, a spokesperson for the force confirmed that there were no injuries reported.
Haverhill Police said there was “no excessive speed involved,” putting the accident down to “a mixture of recent rain, greasy and unfamiliar roads”.
Motorists are warned that one lane of the B1063 is blocked near Chilton Street – with drivers encouraged to take care in the area and slow down as soon as they see police signs.
