A man who threatened door staff at a bar in Braintree with a knife has been arrested by Essex Police.
Officers arrested the 27-year-old man on Wednesday on suspicion of possessing a knife, following a search at a home in Pegasus Way.
He was arrested in connection with an incident in Market Square, Braintree, at around 1.40am on Saturday, September 15, where a man was seen brandishing a machete, as well as an incident on Sunday, October 7 where a man was threatening door staff outside The Lounge in Market Square with a knife.
The man has been remanded in custody and transferred to another police force for a separate matter while investigations continue.
