Six teenagers on a boat required rescuing after getting into difficulty along the Essex coast.
West Mersea RNLI and Coastguard were called to assist the young sailors at around 8.30pm last night.
A Coastguard spokesman said the teens had run aground at Coopers Beach Holiday Park.
“The crews assisted the teenagers to safety,” the spokesman added.
Earlier that afternoon, crews had been called to reports of a canoe, which had come adrift.
