Young goalkeeper Michael Crowe has not been offered a new contract by Ipswich Town.
The 22-year-old spent much of the second half of the campaign on the bench following a hip injury suffered by Dean Gerken, but ultimately departs Portman Road without making a senior appearance.
He was a surprise call-up to the Wales squad in March, named as part of Ryan Giggs’ first squad as manager for a two-game visit to China, but is now looking for a new club.
Another young goalkeeper, Nick Hayes, has also been released, after No 1 Bartosz Bialkowski’s deal was extended by a further year and with Gerken recovering well from his injury. The Blues have previously taken the option to extend the contract of young goalkeeper Harry Wright, son of former Blues keeper Richard, by a further 12 months.
Academy forward James Blanchfield has also been released, as has New Zealand international Monty Patterson who spent the second half of last season on loan at Wellington Phoenix.
