A farmers’ market stall holder who regularly trades at an event near Bury St Edmunds has appeared on a television food series where products are sampled.
Ruth Capocci, whose products are sold under the name Blackbird Cottage, featured on BBC Two programme Top of the Shop with Tom Kerridge.
Ruth showcased her black magic chicken liver parfait with Italian black truffles in a battle with three other producers to win over local customers in Yorkshire.
Ruth, from Norfolk, regularly trades at the Wyken Vineyard Farmers’ Market, near Walsham-le-Willows, and attends every second Saturday of the month.
She will be trading again on Saturday, May 12, and organisers are inviting people to go along to sample some all-meat terrines, pâtés and parfaits.
The market is open every Saturday throughout the year from 9am until 1pm.
