Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze within an industrial unit in Essex this evening.
Five crews attended the incident at School Road in Langham around 7.15pm.
On arrival, firefighters reported the building – which measures around 40m x 80m – was 50% alight.
Crews, from Colchester, Wivenhoe, Manningtree and Chelmsford, quickly requested the support of Halstead’s water bowser – a vehicle which contains a large water tank – to help fight the flames.
At 8.45pm, it was reported that the incident had been divided into areas to allow fire crews to surround the building more efficiently.
The fire was extinguished by 10.35pm.
An investigation will now take place to determine the cause of the fire.
