A woman has been taken to hospital with facial injuries after a crash involving three vehicles on the A12 at Woodbridge this morning.
Suffolk police were called at 8:17am with reports of a collision involving three vehicles just before the Woodbridge turning, heading southbound on the A12.
Ambulance crews and an ambulance officer were dispatched to the scene, where one woman in her 30s was treated for facial injuries.
She was later taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at just after 8.19am today to a report of a road traffic collision on the A12 at Woodbridge
“Ambulance crews and an ambulance officer were dispatched to the scene.
“There were three vehicles involved in the collision where only one person (a woman in her 30s) suffered facial injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.
“Other patients were assessed at the scene and did not require transport to the hospital.”
A spokesperson for Suffolk Constabulary said the crash involved two Ford Transit vans and a Citroen C3 car.
No serious injuries were reported and police reopened the road reopened at 8:55am.
