Garden equipment was stolen during a string of outbuilding burglaries in a Suffolk village.
Police are warning residents in Brandeston to be vigilant after six properties were targeted overnight between Sunday, March 4 and the following day.
Among the items stolen were three hedge cutters, two chainsaws and at least three strimmers.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time to call 101, quoting reference 12172/18.
Alternatively, people can contact the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police are advising people to make sure their outbuildings are secure, and to mark valuable pieces of equipment by etching a postcode on them, as well as registering any serial numbers online on Immobilise.
Further safety advice can be found on Suffolk Constabulary’s website.
