A burglar forced a kitchen window to break in to a Suffolk home in broad daylight and steal an expensive computer, police said.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area of Pond Hall Road in Hadleigh yesterday afternoon.
The suspect went to the back of the property, forced a rear ground window to the kitchen and stole a silver MacPro laptop.
It happened sometime between 2.30-5.30pm.
A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said: “Detectives would like to hear from anyone who was in the area during this time who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area or carrying a laptop.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ipswich CID on 101 quoting crime reference number 37/14049/18.
