An assistance dog charity raised more than £13,000 through its first ever carol service in Long Melford.
The Canine Partners East of England service was held at Holy Trinity Church in the village on Thursday, December 7.
Performances from Band of the Queens Division, Sudbury Choral Society, Barnardiston Hall Preparatory School Choir and Stour Valley Community School Choir took place, as well as a demonstration from the Canine Partners Demo Team.
There was also a reading from Paraympian Hannah Stodel and the service was attended by Clare, Countess of Euston, HM Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk.
The service was followed by mulled wine and mince pies and £13,453 has been raised with some money still rolling in.
Funds raised at the evening will go towards transforming the lives of people with disabilities by providing them with specially trained assistance dogs. The organisation currently help adults aged 18 and over who have a physical disability or condition that affects their daily life and limits their independence.
