A team from the East of England Co-op donned reindeer fancy dress in Long Melford to help the community get into the festive spirit.
Lynn Warner and the Co-op Community Engagement Team talked to customers about the company’s work in the community this year, while handing out free mince pies, cups of warm spiced apple juice and prosecco crisps.
The team also ran a competition on the day, and two Long Melford residents walked away with prizes, including a £50 East of England Co-op giftcard.
Lynn said: “It has been an incredibly busy year for our team and in Long Melford alone we have been able to support many local events including the St George’s Day Gala, country fair and Christmas street fayre.
“Festive freebies and a friendly chat went down really well on a cold winter day and we were pleased to bring a bit of festive spirit to Long Melford.”
