Police were today called to three separate reports of hare coursing in three Suffolk villages between Bury St Edmunds and Eye.
Officers were called to reports of suspected hare coursing in Ixworth at 10am and Finningham at 11am.
They arrived at both locations to find no sign of anyone using dogs to pursue of hares – a practice banned under the Hunting Act of 2004.
Suffolk Constabulary was then alerted to a third report of hare coursing in Thrandeston at about 12.20pm.
Police said there was no evidence of dogs being loose and in pursuit of hares at the location.
