A choir of Ugandan orphans and vulnerable children is coming to Suffolk in the new year with a production about miracles.
The Watoto Children’s Choir will be holding free workshops and concerts at Wickham Market Primary School, Stradbroke High School and Tunstall Community Centre in January as part of its UK Signs and Wonders tour.
Creative director James Skinner said: “This production is going to challenge preconceived ideas about miracles. It demonstrates that each of our daily lives are signs and wonders of God’s work in us.”
Robert Ddamulira, 12, who toured with the choir after the death of both parents, has received education, healthcare and a new family through Watoto. “I love touring in Signs and Wonders because I know I am changing people’s lives,” he said.
The Suffolk dates are January 25-27. Visit Event Brite for detail and tickets.
