The westbound carriageway of the A14 has returned to normal after two vehicles were involved in a crash near Claydon this evening.
Suffolk police officers were called shortly before 5.30pm to the westbound carriageway near Claydon, where a blue Vauxhall Astra and a silver VW Urban were involved in a collision.
A police spokeswoman said officers had closed the westbound carriageway while work was underway, leaving the route at a standstill during rush hour.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service were also called, but those involved suffered only minor injuries.
The road was cleared shortly before 7.10pm.
