The burglary happened at some point between 1.20pm and 10.20pm on Thursday, September 26, when a burglar gained access to a home in Chediston Street and stole some food from the kitchen fridge and cupboards.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokeswoman said that among the items stolen were some items of meat and a pie of unspecified filling from the fridge, while some other items which have not been specified by officers were stolen from one of the kitchen cupboards.
Police confirmed they were investigating the burglary, and have asked anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or has any information which can help officers in their enquiries to contact them.
