Film fans enjoyed a summer Singalong Saturday evening with the screening of an all-time great movie at an Ipswich Park.
The showing of Dirty Dancing starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey brought to a close three days of open-air cinema in Myrtle Meadow at Holywells Park.
The 1987 love story, with its memorable soundtrack and one-liners, has become a firm favourite among generations of film lovers.
Families gathered for the Pop Up Pictures Great Outdoor Cinema Club, which was part of Ipswich Borough Council’s programme of summer events.
On the two days previously people were able to see two Steven Spielberg films – ET, the 1982 American science fiction fantasy film, and Jaws, based on Peter Benchley’s 1974 novel of the same name.
A council spokesman said the aim had been to provide three very different and exciting films to make people laugh, shiver with fright or smile.
Food and drink were available on site.
