Colleagues from Bury St Edmunds firm Treatt have raised thousands for a mental health charity, after completing a sponsored 880 mile bike ride.
Health and safety manager Ken Ferguson and group financial controller Barry Kirby cycled from London to Edinburgh and back again for charity Mind.
A spokeswoman for the company said: “In truly horrible weather conditions – wet, cold and gale force winds for most of the southern route, this really was a remarkable achievement.
“Ken and Barry started near the back of the field and propelled themselves into the front of the main pack, a stunning performance.”
The duo have raised more than £6,300 for Mind, which provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
The charity campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Based in Northern Way, Bury St Edmunds, Treatt is a global independent ingredients manufacturer and supplier to the flavour, fragrance and consumer goods industries.
Those wishing to donate can visit the pair’s fundraising page, which is open until August 18, here.
