A young artist from Framlingham was quick on the draw to help open a new show home in the town.

Eve Williamson, a student at Thomas Mills High School, was the winner of a painting competition, organised by house builder Persimmon Homes, and the youngster was invited to the Persimmon Grange development to see her artwork on display in the show home.

Lucy Woodhall, sales manager for Persimmon Homes Anglia said: “Whenever we open a new development we seek fun ways to work with the local community and, as our new site is close to the famous 12th Century Framlingham Castle, we invited students from the nearby school to send us pictures of the castle.

“Eve’s atmospheric artwork shows the castle by day and night, and will take pride of place in the show home at Persimmon Grange, to be enjoyed by hundreds of visitors coming to view the site.”

Persimmon Grange is a new development of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, priced from £217,995.

The location, in the family-friendly market town, is ideal for sports facilities, local amenities and excellent schools.

Lucy added: “Our fantastic choice of buying options makes it easier than ever for anyone to find the home and deal they need to get them moving.”
