A woman was flown to Colchester hospital from a Suffolk village following an equestrian accident.
The female rider fell from her horse on Wednesday morning, in Semer.
The accident happened in the village, between Hadleigh and Stowmarket, shortly before 10.30am.
The patient, believed to be in her 50s, was airlifted to Colchester General Hospital with a chest injury – although she was not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust said it received a call at just before 10.30am and dispatched an ambulance crew, ambulance officer and the East Anglian Air Ambulance to the scene.
A spokesman added: “They treated a woman, believed to be in her 50s, who had suffered a chest injury.
“She was airlifted to Colchester General Hospital for further care.
“Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.”
