Youngsters took their multi-coloured rubber ducks down the water in Pin Mill Road for the start of the races at 11am before the grand finale at midday.

Now in its 12th year, the Pin Mill Duck Race boasts a fun, family-friendly atmosphere while raising money for local good causes.

Anthony Cullen, owner of Pin Mill Studio where people signed up for the race, said: “Around 500 people turned up to the event, that’s twice as many as last year, with around 60 races taking place.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along as we raised more than £500 for the RNLI and the Chelmondiston playgroup”.
First prize winner, Matt Pilkington from Aldeburgh, was awarded with an engraved chocolate Thorntons Easter Egg.
