A woman was sexually assaulted in Colchester town centre, police have said.
The woman, in her 20s, was walking along the High Street, near Wimpy and The Slug and Lettuce, when a man approached her from behind.
The man assaulted and ran off. The victim was left shaken but uninjured, Essex Police said.
The incident took place at around 4.50pm on Thursday last week.
The man is described as wearing straight-legged jeans and a burgundy-coloured hooded top with the hood up.
