A Chelmsford man charged with murder is set to appear in court this morning.
Michael McDonald, 24, of Tennyson Road, is due before Chelmsford Magistrates Court this morning after being charged with the murder of Brian Hurry, Essex Police said.
McDonald was charged last night with Mr Hurry’s murder following four days in custody.
Mr Hurry was found dead at his home in Bramwoods Road shortly after 5pm on Saturday.
A post-mortem examination found a provisional cause of death as head injuries caused by blunt force trauma, a force spokesman added.
