A woman in her 60s was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition this morning after collapsing in a supermarket in Leiston.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the Co-Op in Sizewell Road soon after 8am to reports that a woman had collapsed in the store and was unconscious and not breathing.
A community first responder, two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance crew and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were all sent to the scene.
The woman was airlifted to Ipswich Hospital in a critical condition.
