Schoolchildren at Kersey Primary School have helped launch St Elizabeth Hospice’s Reindeer Run.
Youngsters from the school near Hadleigh were joined by fundraisers from the Ipswich-based hospice for the event.
The Reindeer Run sees local schools organising their own run over the festive period which can be as long or as short as they like.
Each child will pay a £2 to take part and will raise sponsorship for St Elizabeth Hospice, who will attend an assembly at the school to educate the children about the hospice.
Kersey Primary School is the first to sign up this year. Last year 10 schools took part – raising around £10,000.
