Firefighters were called to Woodbridge yesterday evening to rescue a cow which had become trapped in a water-filled ditch.
A crew from the town along with the water rescue team and rescue vehicle from Princes Street in Ipswich were sent to the scene near The Avenue at 5.37pm.
The half-tonne cow was rescued by 7.40pm using a length of hose and general purpose lines.
