Fire crews put out a car fire in Clacton today after passers by rescued a dog from the vehicle.
It happened in Sladbury’s Lane with firefighters wearing breathing apparatus to extinguish the vehicle which was well alight.
Two hose reels were needed to put out the fire and the dog, an eight month old mastiff named Mr Wilson, was given oxygen therapy by the crews and left in the care of his owner.
