A Clacton man has completed a solo round-the-country windsurf in aid of charity.
Jono Dunnett, 41, set off from the town on June 7 for the 2,000-mile journey, and completed the challenge on Saturday.
Although he is the fourth person to complete the feat, he is the first to do so carrying his own kit and without a floating support crew.
He was cheered on to the finish by crowds of people on Clacton Pier as he completed his final leg from Felixstowe – passing the Gunfleet Sailing Club where he learnt to sail.
The challenge was held to raise funds for the Ralph Bates Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, and Supporting Tanzanian Orphans and Widows.
