A teenage boy who was yesterday fighting for his life following a collision in Chatsworth Drive is said to be in a stable condition.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene at 6.55pm to reports of a collision between a cyclist and a car on the Broke Hall estate.
The boy, whose age has not been confirmed, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge via the East Anglian Air Ambulance with serious and life threatening head injuries.
A police spokesman this morning confirmed he was in a stable condition.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out.
