Firefighters from West Mersea and Colcehster tackled a fire in an airing cupboard today.
It happened at around 10.10am on the first floor of a house in Mersea Avenue, West Mersea.
Wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets crews had extinguished the fire by 11.05am.
