The A12 has reopened in the southbound direction at Saxmundham following a two-vehicle crash.
Police were alerted to the collision, involving a Nissan Cube and Peugeot 206, at 8.25am.
The closure was put in place while officers waited for recovery of the Nissan Cube and for fuel spilt from one of the cars to be cleared.
The ambulance service attended the crash but a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said no-one was seriously injured.
The road was opened by 10.50am.
