All lines have re-opened following earlier electrical problems to rail services to and from London Liverpool Street.
The fault between Forest Gate and Romford began affecting services from shortly after 8am this morning, where all routes via Stratford and Shenfield were subject to delays of up to 40 minutes including routes via, Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester and Chelmsford.
The fault is also caused short notice cancellations to several services.
Network Rail engineers were on site and had repired the problem by 10am, with delays of up to 20 minutes remaining while services return to normal.
