The Environment Agency put out two sets of warnings yesterday across most of the coastline from Norfolk to Essex.

They also warned about the tidal estuary areas along the coast, including the Deben, Orwell and Stour.

Warnings were put out ahead of the high tides due to spring tides combining with a tidal surge and north-westerly winds

However the tides did not cause much disruption except for in low-lying coastal areas particularly prone to flooding during higher than usual tide events.
