Two men have been charged after 40 cannabis plants were found growing in a Dovercourt property.
Police discovered the plants inside the property in Waddesdon Road on October 3.
Today they have charged Michael Vilka, 34, of Clayton Road, Ramsey, and Spencer Orchard, of Regimental Way, Dovercourt, in connection with the find.
Both men were charged with producing a controlled class B drug, while Orchard, 40, was also charged with abstraction of electricity.
Both were released on bail to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on December 18.
