An independent art and music festival is to return next year following inaugural success in Suffolk town over the summer.
Woodbridge Art and Music Event 2015 will be back at Elmhurst Park and other venues over August 8 and 9.
Organised by DJ and Noise of Art collective founder Ben Osborne, and supported by mayor Geoff Holdcroft, the aim is to draw a similarly diverse crop of international artists, which this year included Mercury Prize nominees Polar Bear and acts from electronic music, hip-hop, folk, indie, house and jazz. It also featured exhibitions, performers, a festival market and specially commissioned artwork.
Mr Osborne said local support for the festival had been “amazing” and that local musicians were being sought to join the line-up.
The first acts will be revealed in the new year. Early bird tickets are soon to go on sale at woodbridgeartandmusic.weebly.com.
