A folk trio will commemorate the First World War in poetry and song at a Suffolk library this week.
Three-piece Triangle’s performance of Songs of War and Peace at Woodbridge Library takes place from 7.30pm-9.30pm on Friday.
Tricia Andrews, Brian Lowry and Michael Tyndale-Biscoe have used as inspiration the poetry of Christopher James, who wrote 14 sonnets ahead of the 2014 centenary based on works of art from the time of the Great War.
Each painting will be displayed on screens during Triangle’s performance, which will raise library funds. Tickets are £3, including a glass of wine, from the library or on 01394 446510.
