A flooded road has been closed after a water main burst last night.
Anglian Water has apologised to customers and road users in Mile End, Colchester, after its 4ins main burst in Mill Road.
“Our engineers shut off the water main at 11.30pm yesterday evening and the repair was complete just after 3am with everything back to normal for customers, A spokesman said,
“The road has been repaired and will be re-opened shortly today.
“Once again we are sorry for any inconvenience and thank people for their patience.”
