Police are appealing for information about a burglary which took place in Fronks Road in Harwich between 10am-5.30pm on Tuesday.
Officers believe thieves forced open the conservatory door of the property and once inside stole a gold chain and over £200 worth of cash.
If anyone saw any suspicious behaviour in this area or close by between the relevant times, police would ask them to call T/Dc Lee Winfield at Clacton Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
