A man was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after a large heavy door frame fell on him at a property in Haverhill.
An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and the air ambulance were sent to the scene in Homefield Road at about 10.45am today.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said the man is believed to be in his 50s and had potentially broken his leg and hip in the incident.
The spokesman added: “The air ambulance was requested so that the critical care paramedic and doctor could give advanced pain relief.
“He was taken by land ambulance, accompanied by the air ambulance medics, to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for further treatment.”
