Headteachers have closed schools in Suffolk as flood water blocks roads across the county.
Schools which are reported to have shut are: Clare Primary School, Rattlesden CEVC Primary School and Hundon Community Primary School.
Teachers at Burton End Primary in Haverill are advising parents not to take children to school but are staying open for pupils who have already arrived, it has been reported.
Clements Primary School in Haverhill has also closed.
West Suffolk has been hit hardest with rain falling overnight. Fire and police chiefs are warning drivers not to go through flood water and take alternative routes.
