Crews have spent about 30 minutes extinguishing a chimney fire in east Suffolk.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident at about 4.40pm in Benhall Green, near Saxmundham.
A spokesman for the service said: “Crews attended this property to a report of the chimney on fire. On arrival crews found this was a wood burning stove which was well alight. Crews used tools to get to the chimney of the stove and then chimney rods to clear the chimney.”
The fire was brought under control by about 5.20pm.
Crews have also been dealing with a small house fire in Lowestoft.
The fire was reported in Thurston Road at about 4.30pm where the incident was found to be in the kitchen.
