A three-vehicle crash involving a lorry at the A12 Copdock Interchange caused hours of delays today following an oil spill.
The accident took place at around 12.50pm close to the roundabout, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.
No serious injuries were reported before engineers arrived at the scene to clear the oil spill at 3pm.
The road was left partially blocked before it fully reopened at 4.10pm when the oil was cleared, the force spokesman added.
The incident involved a Mercedes-Benz lorry, a Renault Trafic van and a Citroen Picasso.
