Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was struck by a car in Needham Market this afternoon.
Emergency services attended the incident which occurred at around 4:40pm on Barking Road where a Mitsubishi collided with a woman.
The lady, who is in her eighties, has been taken to Ipswich Hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the woman prior to the incident is asked to contact PC Jason Lambourne at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
