The county’s police chief faced a grilling from budding public servants during a question and answer session with students.
Around 50 youngsters from West Suffolk College’s Uniformed Public Services course quizzed the county’s police and crime commissioner Tim Passmore during his visit to the college.
Students from the course, which examines the role of the public sector, had compiled a list of 25 questions to fire at Mr Passmore, who ended up inviting all the students to join a new police focus group for young people in the county.
Course director Andy Smith said: “It was clear to everyone present that Tim has spent much of his life within public service and cares passionately about issues relevant to Suffolk.”
