A crash in Cransford earlier this month has claimed the life of the brother of the motorcyclist who died.
Police have confirmed that Liam Church, 19, the pillion rider who was involved in the collision on Friday, August 2, has now passed away.
His brother, Michael Church, 21, and also from Sweffling near Saxmundham, was pronounced dead following the crash.
Emergency services were called at about 7.40pm to reports of an accident between a motorbike and a red Nissan Primera at the junction of the B1119 and Low Road, and that the motorbike was on fire in a field.
Liam was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, but died as a result of his injuries on Sunday.
Police continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Pc Danny Ormes at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
