Green-fingered people at a Suffolk care home are hoping the colourful and sensory haven they have created will take top prize in a national gardens competition.
Residents at 55-bed Bucklesham Grange have been working hard to ensure the gardens look beautiful to celebrate Hallmark in Bloom, a company-wide gardening competition across all Hallmark Care Homes.
Judges from Thrive, a gardening charity that promotes the therapeutic benefits of gardening, were treated to a pirate-themed treasure hunt.
Damien Newman, training and education officer from Thrive, said: “It is always a privilege to judge the gardens and the competition is always fierce but Bucklesham Grange have done themselves proud.”
