A 40-year-old man has been bailed following an armed police alert.
Officers were contacted just after 7.50pm on Tuesday by a man who said he was going to shoot himself and that he had a friend round and he was not going to let him leave.
Armed officers were sent to Brightwell Close but the friend supposedly being held was not inside the property.
Police arrested a 40-year-old man originally for false imprisonment, but he was arrested for wasting police time in custody and was bailed to return on September 20.
