Up to 500 pigs were killed in a fire which broke out at two farm buildings on Sunday.
Forty firefighters attended the scene at Barley Brigg Farm on Laxfield Road, Stradbroke, when the blaze began at about 4.20pm.
One building, which was 10m x 50m in size, housed 500 pigs, while a second of a similar size contained between 600 and 800 tonnes of straw, according to the fire service.
Appliances from Stradbroke, Eye, Framlingham, Harleston, Diss and Woodbridge, a water carrier from Newmarket, a water carrier from Leiston and a command unit and support pump from Woodbridge were mobilised to the scene.
About 400 pigs were safely evacuated away from the fire.
The fire was under control by 6.20pm, with crews allowing the straw to burn out in a controlled environment.
