Our photos have helped jog the memories of some of our long-term readers this week.
Re: Magic Memories, Woodbridge in Bloom 1989
The hanging baskets were grown by horticultural students at Otley College.
The Woodbridge in Bloom organisers launched the campaign with John Gummer and Miss Woodbridge in Bloom.
Left to right: Neil Parker, Seckford Foundation chief executive; Paul Norman, town florist; John Dyter, director Notcutts; John Gummer (Lord Deben); Russel Geen, town councillor; Bud Rowland, president Rotary Club of Woodbridge; sorry name forgotten; John Pearson, vice principal Otley College.

Re: Hadleigh Young Farmers
I saw a photo in the EADT of Hadleigh Young Farmers’ Club in May 1990.
I am the current Hadleigh YFC chair and have the original newspaper cutting in a scrapbook that was recently found.
In the photo are Chris and Sarah Partridge, Katie Turner, James Craske, Mark Smith and Steve Ladbrook. They are attempting to break the world record for bale rolling!
Hadleigh YFC was reinstated in March 2012, and Chris Partridge is now our club president.
The new Hadleigh YFC is proving a popular and successful club.
Visit our website www.hadleighyfc.co.uk to see what we are getting up to 23 years on!
