Ipswich Town are closing in on two more players, as Mick McCarthy plots his Blues’ promotion challenge at Portman Road.
Former Rangers and Blackpool defender Kirk Broadfoot and Wycombe Wanderers winger Joel Grant are the two names thought to be close to making a switch to Suffolk.
Grant, who can play on the wing or in attack, is out of contract following two successful seasons at Adams Park, while Broadfoot, who can play at centre-back and right-back, made over 30 appearances for Blackpool last season after leaving Rangers.
Broadfoot, who made his name at St Mirren, has four international caps for Scotland, while Grant is a Jamaica Under-20 international who scored 14 goals in 68 games for the Chairboys.
