THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in an incident at Colchester.
Police were called to East Hill at 3am on Friday May 10 following reports that a man had suffered a hand injury during an altercation.
A 19-year-old man who lives in the Colchester area was treated at Colchester General Hospital before being allowed home. It is believed his injury was caused by broken glass.
Three men were arrested nearby.
A 21-year-old man and two 19-year-old men, all from the Colchester area, remain in police custody this morning.
Detectives have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information about events leading to the incident should contact Colchester CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
